There will be some changes and new guidelines to follow to help keep us all as safe as possible.

I will be wearing an appropriate face mask, visor  and disposable apron when arriving at your home.

Each client will have a disposable gown and disposable towels, disposable floor mat and gloves will be used where necessary.

Hands and tools coming into contact with the hair will be sprayed with Saloncide. This solution doesn't require rinsing and only takes seconds to work. Please look at

Would clients that are having their hair cut only, with no blowdry, please wash their hair prior to their appointment.

No cash payments will be taken at this time . Payments can be made by either Card or Bank transfer only.

Please note that due to the increase in PPE there is a small increase in prices. You can view prices via this website.

****Please note that I will be returning home for toilet breaks regularly so do not intend to use clients toilet*****

Where possible please can I ask doors and windows are open to keep room well ventilated.

Whenever it is possible 2m social distancing must be observed. (I.e whist colour/perms are processing) 

To keep appointment times to a minimum , consultations need to be done, whenever possible by phone and/or video link

All clients are required to wear a mask wherever it is possible to do so. If you don’t have a mask then one can be provide at an extra charge of 50p a mask. 

Only the client/clients should be present in the same room whilst appointments take place

Procedure to follow when arriving at clients home

  • Pull up outside home
  • Sanitise hands and apply clean, sanitised face mask and clean sanitised shield
  • Put on disposable apron
  • Retrieve sealed client pack and equipment
  • Enter home without touching doors or surfaces
  • Wash hands with liquid soap (supplied) and dry with paper towel (supplied)
  • Ask Client to wash hands
  • Complete service using sanitised equipment and pre packed client packs
  • Wash hands
  • Wash brushes/combs used and sterilize as required (with saloncide and
  • Dispose of Eco towels, gowns ,capes and gloves in sealed bag
  • Take payment via machine using Discide wipes over machine prior to using
  • Enter vehicle
  • Spray hands with sanitiser
  • Remove shield
  • Remove face mask and spray with sanitiser

Test and Trace

I will be fully complying with the governments Test and Trace service.

Under government advice, I will be testing myself using a lateral flow test twice a week.

  1. Have you had the recent onset of a new continuous cough?
  2. Do you have a high temperature?
  3. Have you noticed a loss of, or change in, normal sense of taste or smell?
  4. Have you been in contact with anyone who has covid symptoms or had a positive covid test in the last 2 weeks?
If you have any of these symptoms , however mild, you should reschedule your appointment

I have now re-booked appointments for everyone who had their appointments cancelled due to Lockdown. If you are a regular client of mine please do call for an appointment but I am currently unable to book appointments for new clients.
